At our second gathering place a group of the important men from the brides family joined the grooms family and friends, and had drinks and snacks. These men are identified by matching scarfs that the grooms family provided to show their importance. From this gathering place the parade went,on foot, to the main reception where the bride "Priya" sat in waiting for the groom.

seems like a lot of standing around going from place to place
The paople do not seem to mind the heat as they are walking. They look very relaxed and happy.
