One of the primary reasons that we visited India was to attend Abhishek's wedding. It was a spectacular event. We were welcomed as honored guests, and got a chance to meet all of the family. Abhishek is the nephew of RK and Mrs. Sinha who own SIS, the company that I worked for in India. He and I lived together for a few months while I was there. The weddings are quite a production with a parade through the streets and all.

that is really neat! i wish we kinda did celebrations like that here...getting married is Such a Big Deal, i do think it deserves quite a celebration! their weddings in India and Thailand are so extravagant and beautiful! hmmmmmm....nicki, we might have to incorporate some of that color and beauty into s*'s wedding some day...
oh wait.........josh might be getting married soon! ha ha ha
