We stopped at a Fish & Chips place for lunch, the weather was great, and we visited the sites. The goveernment building and the Empress Hotel with it's grounds made it into the final selection of pictures. This is the oldest hotel in Victoria, from the early 1800's.

oh my goodness! those buildings with the vines growing all over them is very cool!! especially the "hallway" with the thicker vines! wow ~~ love the architecture (sp?) of the 1800's!!
