Here are some shots of the village at wistler, and the "Lost Lake" that is not far from the village. None of the lifts or gondolas were working. they are getting ready to open for the season Nov. 25th.

wow! very cool!! i love the trees in the 3rd picture~ God's paintbrush, who can beat it??
and the bears are cute too...we are studying Lewis & Clark right now and there are quite a few stories from their original journeys (sp?) where they encountered bears!! their size is enough to scare me, not to mention their teeth....Yikes! i like the Mountain Host, too...amazing that the stones haven't toppled over ~ love you guys...glad the trip has been joyous! it is so neat that you got to see your friends that you met in India!!
