Day 1 of 2010 Winter Escape From Nebraska

Here we are at the Gunsmoke Campground in Dodge City, Kansas. About 410 miles from Lincoln, Nebraska. The weather was warm enough for us to take a casual walk with jackets on. Our neighbor campers were complaining that it was below freezing last night. haha Tonight it is suppose to be 12 (above zero). I think we will be fine. Pulling the "dingy", and fighting wind, we were only getting about 4-5 miles to the gallon, but it's all good. We passed a cool windmill farm that is pictured here, and there are some shots of the camping area. We had a nice simple home cooked dinner of soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Life is GOOD!
